Factory Technical Due Diligence

A factory visit or website review is not enough. FactoryFrontier evaluates process capability, equipment, NPI systems, test capability, engineering responsiveness, relevant product experience, and true production readiness.

Why This Is Needed

A supplier can look professional and still fail technically. The most dangerous supplier is not always fake. It may be a real factory that is simply wrong for the product, tolerance, test flow, or launch timeline.

What FactoryFrontier Does

  • Assess production processes, key equipment, process windows, and equipment limitations.
  • Review NPI discipline, engineering change handling, test setup, and quality feedback loops.
  • Check experience with similar products and whether the team has solved comparable problems.
  • Use real engineering questions to evaluate responsiveness instead of relying on sales claims.

What You Receive

  • Factory technical due diligence report.
  • Production readiness score by process, test, quality, and engineering support.
  • Risk list covering capacity, equipment, NPI, testing, yield, and launch discipline.
  • A recommendation to approve, conditionally approve, or replace the supplier.

Decide whether production can actually work, not whether the factory presentation looks good.
