Quote-Ready Engineering Package

Accurate supplier quotes depend on accurate input. FactoryFrontier prepares an engineering package that reduces interpretation gaps and forces suppliers to quote against the same scope.

Why This Is Needed

When the RFQ package is weak, suppliers protect themselves by adding hidden buffers, excluding important tasks, or quoting with vague assumptions. The client may think they are comparing prices, but they are actually comparing different interpretations.

What FactoryFrontier Does

  • Clean and organize drawings, BOM, versions, tolerances, surface finishes, test expectations, packaging specs, and target volumes.
  • Define what suppliers must include or exclude in quotation.
  • Create standard quote templates for tooling, NRE, unit cost, lead time, MOQ, test, packaging, and logistics assumptions.
  • Prepare clarification questions for suppliers before quote comparison.

What You Receive

  • Quote-ready engineering package.
  • RFQ instructions and quote template.
  • Assumption control sheet.
  • Supplier clarification log.

If the RFQ is unclear, the quote is not real.
